Hey everyone! It's warmer out. Now you can allow your hair to air dry and you can wear wavy curls for the summer. A recent trend that has creep back up on us is 60s and 70s fashion and the hair accessory are not an exception! So channel your inner psychedelic, music festival goddess with this DIY Flower Crown! I have looked online and they have ranged from $15 to $150. Here is a cheap and easy 10 step way to make your own:

What You Will Need:
  • Headbands
  • A hot glue gun
  • Scissors
  • Fake flower

Step 1: Cut the flowers from the stem.
Step 2: Pull the flower from the stem.
*Do not throw away the leaves*

Step 3: Cut the bottom of the stem off. Try to cut as close to the flower as possible. Place them around the headband where you want them to be.

Step 4: Put glue on the center of the bottom of the flower.
Step 5: Place the flower on the headband and hold until it is dry

.
Step 6: Here is where you will use the leaves. Pull them off the stem.
Step 7: Pull the piece that was holding the leaves on the stem off.

Step 8: Cut the leaves apart.

Step 9: Apply a line of glue down the center of the leaf.
Step 10: Place the leaf over the headband and the back of the flower! You're now done. Go out and enjoy your cute flower crown!

If you make one..post a pic and hashtag it #flowercrowntlgf so I can see them! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
