Last Minute Halloween Costume - Beyonce Flawless Outfit Inspired .. Like Literally

Hey loves! I promised a Halloween post for you guys so here it is!! I realized last time I put up a Halloween costume post was two years ago! I had about 4 other ideas that I wanted to post on this blog for Halloween this year but I did not have time to get around to them. My favorite from the five was this Beyonce Flawless inspired look! As you can see from the title, this is LITERALLY a last minute costume. I did the shorts before I went to work yesterday and the hair, make up and styling when I got off from work at midnight! lol

" I WOKE UP LIKE THIS! "

Haha..not really! So if you would like to see how I achieved this look, check out the step by step details below:

What You Will Need:

Optional:

Step 1:

The first thing I did was make the shorts. To distress the shorts I simply searched a tutorial for it on YouTube. I have done this several times but I just needed a quick refresher. There are many videos on how to distress and bleach your shorts on YouTube but I just went with this one here. I also took pictures if you don't want to watch the video. I picked up some jeans from the thrift store and went to cutting. lol I decided not to bleach my shorts and just put them in the washing machine then dried them.

Step 2:

The second thing I did was my make up. My sister did this part. The main things we focused on here were the bold smokey eye and red lips! I used several coats of mascara, smudged my eyeliner, and applied some of Mac's Ruby Woo!

Step 3:

The third step was the hair which is optional. I wanted the wavy Beyonce look, so I curled my hair with a curling wand and finger combed the curls out. This gave my hair a wavy curls look. Then I went outside and sprayed my hair with Streak 'N Tips for the golden blonde hair color that Bey rocks. But like I said earlier, you can pull this look off without the hair color spray!

Step 4:

For the fourth and final step, I styled this look. Beyonce was serving edgy, country girl realness. I purchased a men's red and black flannel from Target, threw on my combat boots, and gold chains!

Four easy steps to complete this flawless and quick Halloween costume! If you do this send me a pic on any of my social links which are listed below and if not let me know what you were for Halloween this year in a comment below!
