Nostalgic Emerald Holiday

When I was younger I had a green velvet dress that I loved to wear. This Fall the velvet trend has returned and it is no longer only for special occasions. I paired my summer skater dress with this emerald green velvet top and it was Holiday ready! I have been looking for something made out of the velvet texture since October and one day I was in the thrift store when I came across this top. I thought the perfect accessories for this holiday look were pearl, gold and black items. I decided to go with my pearl necklace and bracelet, gold watch and black and gold sun purse.

To keep my legs warm, I included my printed tights and knee high socks, which I pulled down to stick out the top of my black booties. I think three things every girl should have in her wardrobe this Fall and Winter are: a velvet item (i.e. top, vest, dress, shoes, etc...), colorful or printed tights, and great socks (i.e. boot, knee-high,  or over the knee socks.

My Grown Up Christmas List

Hello! With Christmas being only a week away, I recently realized that I haven't made a  Christmas Wish List for this year. My list consist of fashion, beauty and home pieces that I would not mind receiving from Santa.

Toro Y Moi Concert

Hey guys! I went to a concert last weekend in Charleston at Music Farm. I went to see one of my favorite artist: Toro Y Moi and they opened up with CLASSIXX  I didn't know about CLASSIXX until I got to the concert but I think it is safe to say that they have a new fan! I made a new friend, caught up with an old friend and had a wonderful time! It rained a little but there was a overhead so we did not get wet. My sister and I were the forth and fifth people in line so we were able to be in the front row. I loved the atmosphere and it was an over all great experience. Hello guys! I put together a casual outfit that I wore to class yesterday. I loved the print of the pants because they have a vintage look to them. The loud print of the pants caused me to just throw on my cream scoop neck top. Summer Outfits of the Week

Hey everybody! It's finally SUMMER and the weather is wonderful! I had to drive home when I wore this first outfit and my hometown is an hour and a half drive from my apartment. So I was looking for something comfortable to wear on my ride home. I threw on a thrifted Levi denim button down over a Wet Seal tank top because the AC in my car gets really cold. I also put on my Forever21 Plus blue, gold and gray cheetah leggings with my black chucks:

Annual Memorial Day Weekend Trip

Hello! I hope everyone's memorial day weekend was as fun as mine. This weekend our family had our annual memorial day weekend trip. This year we traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina. We went to Carowinds Amusement Park on Day 1. On the second day, we went to Concord Mills Mall. Below is a video of out fun packed weekend. Check it out!
